Additionally, If your truck has actuated locks you can tap in to that and use your OEM key fob to lock and unlock the system as well (2005-2023 tacoma, 2007-2021 tundra, and more).
Comes with everything needed to be plug and play. Installation of hardware requires no modification to the camper.
There are 3 versions you can choose from.
Basic OEM Key Fob - This version is meant to tie in to your vehicle OEM locking system. Trucks like the Toyota Tacoma 05-23, Tundra 07-21, Ford Ranger, and more that have OEM tailgate actuator locks (do you hear a sound from tailgate when you lock your truck?). You simply tap into that system for control. Please reach out if you you have questions on this. ($199)
NFC Key card access - This version uses NFC key cards (like building access cards) to control the X1 locking system. The onboard control board comes pre programmed with 2 key cards, 2 NFC stickers (stick to your wallet or other things), 2 keychains and 1 NFC wristband (if you are going swimming) ($299)
NFC + Keycard access - This version incorporates both systems into one package. additional relays were involved to keep the two systems from interfering with each other. ($329)
